For a Preston family event or reception, start with enough seating for the guests who will be eating together. Then add only the extra tables or stools that help food service, gifts, drinks or a separate casual zone.
- Separate seated meal numbers from guests who will mostly stand.
- Allow clear space around food, dessert or gift tables.
- Check the route through gates, stairs or hall entrances.
